I honestly don't know, I only watched his highlights. But this jumped out at me in his stats and it is one thing I will keep an eye on. I assumed you were lumping him in with your "good passing forwards" statement and I was wondering if you had seen more than what was in the stats? So is he a candidate for a secondary scoring role? 6th man or second rotation scorer?
Or just a ball stopping habit that needs to be considered?
We’ve needed a great guitarist for years.New target to the list, more frountcourt:
Its a big miss and would've loved to have him here, but the writing was on the wall with all the G offers we've sent out. They're still going after some top tier guards like the WMU guy.
Well if that isn’t a kick in the nads
I'm guessing Kyan called Niko and said Carolina is offering me this and Niko told him, that's a great offer, we can't match it and the visit got cancelled. I hope we close the deal with Enis tomorrow.Doogie saying it was just south of 2.5 million.....I don't believe it.
I guess if it's a 2 year "contract".....maybe.
WILLIS, Hausen, Enis, Booth.I feel like the longer this drew out we all knew how it was going to end, but dang I’m bummed about this one…. aaaaaand I’m over it, whose next?
let’s do itGrier, Hausen, Enis, Booth.
Both sought after for a reason. Drake went to the NCAAs and won there with D2 players. What if we just go D2 and sign Wes Enis and Jadin Booth?
Its risky, but probably cheaper than proven D1 players, and Niko could just surround them with hybrid forwards![]()
Lane is a baller. Watched a couple games of UNA. fun player
The reality that NIL is more important than many were willing to admit is starting to set in.Outbid by UNC, but thankfully a player courted by Texas A&M is on the radar? Scoops on the brightside.

Yep, it was always nonsense that it wasn't a big factor. The reality that NIL is more important than many were willing to admit is starting to set in.
How many more wins will better coaching attribute to?I haven't fact checked Gopher Crew, but if this is true, this is good news. Keep in mind that last year's roster was ranked top 60 by KenPom pre-season, which has usually been a solid metric. The Gophs are currently in the mix for some star players, and there may be more coming out. At very minimum, Niko will be able to round out the roster with more solid additions.

That's exactly the point. Last year's team should have been NIT material. In fairness, Mike Mitchell's injury derailed them early, and he never regained form. But they showed what they were capable of by beating some good teams. With more consistency, who knows? Coaching matters. How many more wins will better coaching attribute to?
Two shooters, including one who is an excellent point guard, and a versatile and reliable big are necessary for this team to be competitive next season. The other three can be role players or developmental players. That's exactly the point. Last year's team should have been NIT material. My assessment is that how they round out the roster with those last six scholarships will be the difference between them being an NIT contender and an NCAA contender.
Personally I think they bring in 3 guards, all of which shoot close to 40% from 3. Lane, Booth, Hausen and Enis all shoot close to or OVER 40%. The only one they've contacted who doesn't shoot that well is Willis, but hes got other great attributes like his assist rate. Two shooters, including one who is an excellent point guard, and a versatile and reliable big are necessary for this team to be competitive next season. You’re correct. I was lumping.I honestly don't know, I only watched his highlights. But this jumped out at me in his stats and it is one thing I will keep an eye on. I think the big thing is the people who panic when there isn't immediate news or every time they see a player sign need to take a deep breath and realize that there are still new players going into the portal everyday and a ton of unsigned players. You just described a Fantasy Football Auction strategy. Let the other teams spend a big portion of their budget on the Top 10-15% of the talent pool. Now you have the chance to outbid most other teams on the next tier of talented players.
You can very easily put together a winning roster this way but it sure does suck sitting idly by watching the true studs go elsewhere, though.
One thing I love about the roster so far is that most of the new guys have multiple years of eligibility available. No guarantees guys stick around more than one year these days but at least having the option is nice to see.I haven't fact checked Gopher Crew, but if this is true, this is good news.
