Not sure that the coaches I'm going to trust on that info are from the conference that outside of Duke looked beyond awful last season

I like the idea that one of our posters forwarded- perhaps we will see an overseas player come our way.Not sure that the coaches I'm going to trust on that info are from the conference that outside of Duke looked beyond awful last season
I forrgot that all private schools have more wealth than they know what to do with. Thanks for reminding me. The rich at USC have not poured money into the program before.USC is a big private school with many rich kids (and therefore rich alums). The alums there can finance anything they want. USC gives huge academic scholarships so one can assume there are many pots of money there.
Calling them all trash is probably harsh because i am sure there are some quality players available. But safe to assume most of the high profile guys are off the board. Don't know when players have to lock in for the draft or withdraw but would seem like that would lead to another flurry of movement when those that were considering the NBA come back to college. Not sure that the coaches I'm going to trust on that info are from the conference that outside of Duke looked beyond awful last season
Not really. It is crazy that you see so many of these guys pop up at mid majors and do well. Obviously there are some known commodities out there that are hard to get, but I would hope Niko will do better than past coaches in this area.Have we ever really gotten a stud foreign player in the past 20 years or so?
It may be that there is a lot of talent left but that you also have to sift through some character issues with some of them not selected yet.Calling them all trash is probably harsh because i am sure there are some quality players available. Yep....initial flurry of activity has passed. Teams can now be far more deliberate and vet players more deeply to figure out if they would be a good fit. Might not be many true impact guys left in the portal but lots of quality players who can help a team.It may be that there is a lot of talent left but that you also have to sift through some character issues with some of them not selected yet.
David Mutaf, Bakary Konate, Gaston Diedhiou, and Oto Osieniks are offended by this question.Have we ever really gotten a stud foreign player in the past 20 years or so?

Stud? No. Dud.Have we ever really gotten a stud foreign player in the past 20 years or so?
A guy I knew went there, told me they refer to it as the University of Spoiled Children!!USC is a big private school with many rich kids (and therefore rich alums). Mo Walker count? Certainly wasn't a stud, but good. And I believe he played some HS ball in the US.Have we ever really gotten a stud foreign player in the past 20 years or so?
Devoe Joseph was also Canadian and was a pretty highly recruited guy out of HS.Mo Walker count? Certainly wasn't a stud, but good. And I believe he played some HS ball in the US.
Do all of these 51st state guys qualify as internationals?Leo Rautins was a first round draft pick. Not too shabby. (past the 20 year limit, but still a foreign player)
