Could he be a Gopher? If so, how good is he? Obviously he put up huge scoring number in HS at 34 per game.
Sorta depends on the reason he left Yale. Would be nice to see him a GopherCould he be a Gopher? If so, how good is he? Obviously he put up huge scoring number in HS at 34 per game.
Ok great but where’s the video on him making a nice pass to one of his teammates for an easy bucket. I love that it appears he can shoot it. But I want to see the rest of his game.

3-point percentage needs to go up, but 5.8 assists per game is A LOT.

Not a great shooter, but was impressed with him as a lead guard when I saw him vs. St. Thomas. My memory is that was his first game after missing the first part of the season due to injury. Think he'd be a nice pickup, certainly has handle & Gophers need one of those.
I trust Niko. That video against Ohio isn't very helpful as Ohio's help defense is non-existent in the video. Willis made a couple tough 3's however. How many did he miss? In any case, I trust Niko to put together a competitive roster. I also expect this summer to be a great learning and bonding experience for this team. Niko has to have his team ready to play on the first game rather than take until mid January to figure it out like Ben's teams did.The Gophers also need another demonstrated scorer and this guy fits the bill. He led the MACC in points and assists per game as a newcomer in his only year there. He may have two years of eligibility remaining. He went to a DII school as a freshman and a junior college as a soph. I expect Asuma to take a jump in scoring this season but I don't know how much.

I like our chances of landing him, since the last 2 commits committed before their visits.

Ben would get ripped for bringing in this type of player. I know nothing of him. Might be a great add but he’s a former d2 that moved to a lower tier D1.I like our chances of landing him, since the last 2 commits committed before their visits.
Led the MAC in both scoring and assists and was a good defender, he’d be a big time add.Ben would get ripped for bringing in this type of player. I know nothing of him. Might be a great add but he’s a former d2 that moved to a lower tier D1.
