Creighton has a lot of $$$ to give out. This was true even before NIL became legal, even more so now.
 




Or maybe a Jesuit education is important to them but with Megan Duffy leaving Marquette, that makes Creighton another great option?
 




Any word from Kaelyn Carroll? She seems like would be a good fit to be a stretch 5 at times. Kind of like Annika Stewart is now. Believe Hart, Stewart, Czinano, Brooks will all be out of eligibility after this season.
 


Would be a nice pickup as I believe Stewart is going to help a lot. If we could add a player like her it would be great.

Also I noticed that Addi Mack is 100 on ESPN. I wasn’t a huge fan with her stature being small, but now I’m wondering if she would be worth going after harder. There is no true PG after Battle.

I could be wrong; but, I thought I heard or saw that they are tying to get another year for Hart with the NCAA.
 



To clarify a few things..

-The Staff is thinking Sophie could get another year so expecting her back next year.
-Carroll is a SF/PF so wouldn't play the 5 like Stewart has been
- The Addi Mack thing is a no-go. She has her unofficial final 3 and the gophers never offered
 




I just went on her Instagram and looked at recent posts. I did not see any interactions with Gopher players. Not saying that means everything, but I would be surprised to see Carroll pick the Gophers. I would love to be wrong though!

I agree, the chances seem to look slim. I haven't even seen that we even made an offer to her? Do think she would do well in Coach P system though.

I am a little surprised that she wound up a program like Maryland. I think her size is going to be a problem because she isn't just short, but she's also rail thin. I hope for her sake I am proven wrong.

I literally just wrote this in a text to someone. She has such a small stature. I know she is a top 100 player now and that intrigued me this week. However I think St. Thomas and taking over Jade Hills spot would have been a much better fit for her. I’m with you though….i hope (not if they are playing Minnesota) I am wrong.
 

I think tomorrow is early signing day. We only have two commits. Will there be any surprises?
 

I wouldn’t be too worried about only two recruits. Not graduating much. Will need another back up PG eventually (unless Klick can do it)….. class of 26 is WAY more critical to the Gophers.
 

Bershers Has signed! And her highlights actually look like Stewart. She is a stretch 5. Knocking down 3s. I think she will fit into Coach Ps system well!


Also if Hart gets another year, both centers will be from Farmington! 🤣

Now they have both signed! Will be interesting to see if there are any surprises today. Other wise I am fine with the two!

I bet we don't see any surprises. Next years team doesn't need to add much more. I would bet if any scholarships are left they will wait for the portal.
