2025 Bowl Projection Tracker

Minnesota vs Arizona State in the Las Vegas Bowl

M&G Forever
The Las Vegas bowl is the one we have never played in of the big ten tie ins, correct?
Or are there others

ESPN chimes in:

GameAbove Sports Bowl
Ford Field (Detroit)
1 p.m., ESPN

Bonagura: Michigan State vs. Ohio
Schlabach: Minnesota vs. Central Michigan

Rate Bowl
Chase Field (Phoenix)
4:30 p.m., ESPN

Bonagura: Kansas vs. Minnesota
Schlabach: Baylor vs. Michigan State

Go Gophers!!

Sports Bowl is Detroit, in case anyone was wondering. I like either Rate or Music City...may even think about going. Hopefully the Gophs surprise and move up in the slotting.
I went to the Music City Bowl when we beat #25 Arkansas in 2002. A good time if you get the chance. Nashivlle isn't the same city today (alot bigger) but still a good time.

I wouldn't book the trip just yet. Not sure we'll avoid Detroit this year.

I just want a P4 opponent, preferably. Playing someone like Miami in Ohio in Detroit would be depressing.

more depressing than playing a VaTech team that was basically a Frosh/Soph squad that had no business being in a bowl? Hopefully with the portal shift to January, we'll avoid some of this, but I doubt it.

The Bowls aren't what they used to be.

It’s so hard to project with the pac Additions having separate affiliations

Basically we want Washington, USC, Oregon. and UCLA to keep beating peoples

I still want the Gophers to play in the actual Rose Bowl game, which isn’t what it used to be either, but that would give my fandom maximum joy.
The Rose, Orange, Sugar, Cotton, and Fiesta bowls still matter. Some of the lesser bowls that have long history - Citrus, Gator, Peach, Sun, and Holiday are all decent and well run. I remain curious to see how many of the others last in this new era.

The Sun Bowl was a lot of fun in 1999 and in 2003. El Paso was kind of under-rated.....

Or the Gophers to just win a bunch of games.

I think if they could get to Nashville that would be a pretty good accomplishment this year. Vegas would not be bad either. Both are good travel destinations...

That GameAbove Sports Bowl between Nebraska and Buffalo will be a must watch for sure. :ROFLMAO:

I'll take OU in the Citrus Bowl. That would be fun!
Think it takes 9 - 3 to make that happen. 8-4 gets us Music City or Arizona (maybe Outback). 7-5 gets a crappy bowl.

We may really regret the loss to Cal. Seems like we have 1 every year.

8-4 is Music City. Every one else likely in that range of W-L will have already played there too much.

Nashville or bust!

Funny how one week can change perceptions this much.

Regardless......a lot of work needed to make this one happen.
We punted away the Cal game ... but honestly kinda stole two games.

It would literally be the end times for some fans if we came into the Neb game 2 and 4.

Some guy misses a kick or makes one and it's all the difference in the world.
