Way to early in the year to really be thinking about travelling to our away games but which of the following games would you most like to go to? The 2 big travel games to the west coast are spread out enough to make going to both them a legit possibility with regards to not stacking them back to back to break the bank price wise.

Planning on Wrigley instead of my bi-annual trip to Iowa City. Better half really likes Chicago so she’s on board. Really want to do Cal too but probably won’t. Love SF, Napa and Sonoma counties!

I'll most likely be at the Cal game due to having family in CA (also went to the Rose Bowl game for that reason), and will most likely be at the Iowa game as well. Might think about Oregon and Northwestern at Wrigley as well if it ends up making sense.

Thorps will definitely be at Cal. Missus loves Napa and Santa Rosa.

I really want to do Cal but it is very early for taking kids out of school… still might.
I've already been there (Cal-Berkeley) in 06'. With that said, probably not. However a potential family visit might sway me. Oregon and Northwestern are interesting. I've yet to visit either campus/ stadium. OSU? Well it is OSU. If rent a car to get from the airport to the stadium, I will take out additional insurance. Fans have been known to key opposing fans cars. Iowa will be a last minute decision.

It's such a weird gimmick.

Also Wrigley isn't Wrigley anymore, it just isn't, I get why they updated it, but it just feels like ... updated park that looks "like" Wrigley now.
We took a tour of Wrigley with kids over MEA break. It's still very much a dump, but with nice video boards in the outfield and the plaza development along the west side of stadium. Most high schools probably have locker rooms as nice as the visitor's clubhouse.

I said when we were in Pasadena I would love to do Berkley one day...and now I can! (and am!)

It's the area around Wrigley that's changed a lot, since the team bought out many of the old school bars and made them into more corporate versions owned by the team or patrons of the Ricketts family.
