2025-26 College Football Coach Fired/Hired Thread










It's a lot harder to win if you can't get 5star players

College football is an oligopoly, and they like it that way
Agreed and also if you're Cal, like Purdue there best eras have been with more of an offensive coach leading the program. Don't see a point in firing Wilcox and going with another defensive guy, especially when you have someone like Ron Rivera in the background
 





I wish we lived in a college football world where all these small programs that have these great coaches that have turned them around could afford to keep their coach. I would love to see South Florida, UCONN, North Texas or New Mexico be the next Michigan or Ohio State. Just a dreamer.
 





The pressure cookers put themselves in by moving up to the P4. Seems short sighted for some of these coaches having success. I guess it’s why show up for my desk job each day.
