2024-25 Big Ten Free Agent Signings

Please stop the self-pity.
If you are depressed, call your shrink!
The world is wonderful.
If you dont like it, go somewhere else.
It's not important.
It's a stupid basketball team!

Freddie knows how to play the game.
Yes, Hoiberg has been building rosters with transfers for way longer than almost anyone, but that hasn't translated to that much success in Lincoln. They were good last year (and really the year before) largely due to a unique talent in Tominaga.

I think I heard that Rienk Mast is taking a medical redshirt next season, and that opened the door to bringing this big man in.

Very impressive for USC, they have to have a lot of money. Andy Enfield didn't do to well there, but he's the type of coach with mid-major success that has an appealing resume for a team like us.

Big Ten only. I’ll try to keep this updated as 💩 hits the fan:

Washington adds Oakland forward Chris Conway to its free agency class.

Illinois added 7-1, 250 Tomislave Ivisic from Croatia today. Twin brother of the Ivisic who was at Kentucky last season and is now at Arkansas. Has been playing in FIBA. Hook shot with either hand and over 40% from three.

Also recruiting Egor Demin, 6-9 guard from Russia. Projected lottery pick in 2025 draft. He will either stay at Real Madrid or go to Illinois. Real Madrid plays a methodical style so he is interested in playing more up tempo to prepare for the draft.

Stay with Real Madrid or go to Illinois seem like odd options.... :)

Probably a good add. 20 years old. Best add was probably Orlando Antigua

Trey Edmonds inks contract with Minnesota.

Gopher Crew now will have the Gophers going to the Final Four.
6-10 experienced player will certainly add some depth

Suddenly we've got a *lot* of players origianlly from Colorado. Betts, the Oregon kid, Edmonds....

The Gopher roster construction looks pretty good imo. If we add a mature PG like Patterson, we should fight in the middle of Big Ten. MN would be an improved team vs. '23-'24 because we got a lot older (9 seniors/grad), and by adding a mature PG our turnovers will DROP. Hawkins had a ton of assists, but he turned the ball over a lot more than ideal.

LOL like I say, people believe everything they're told.

"Inks contract"...everyone thinks he's good.

"Got this scrub for nothing and he stinks as bad as Rigsby"...everyone thinks he's not good.

I guarantee you we will be in the cellar.
