Katie Gearlds’ struggles last year at Purdue did not prompt her to wimp out on the remainder of the non-con schedule. In addition to a previously-agreed game with Notre Dame, she signed on to play South Carolina and Middle Tennessee in a tournament, and face Kentucky with new coach Kenny Brooks and AA guard Georgia Amoore.
