I thought St Thomas couldn't give out football scholarships (Pioneer league)? Will see what this fall brings. I'm sure he'll gain weight without issues. However, if he really improves, perhaps an official offer is in order to compete with the smaller schools such as St. Thomas etc. if we still want him. School isn't exactly cheap. Hopefully though he wants to play in the Big 10.
they don't, but I do think St. Thomas will give out finacial packages based on income...could be wrong thoughI thought St Thomas couldn't give out football scholarships (Pioneer league)?
Still would likely cost more than the U for a Wisconsin kid. Plus a PWO could end up on scholarship eventually.they don't, but I do think St. Thomas will give out finacial packages based on income...could be wrong though
Haven't they given out "Leadership" grants for years? I believe they can be very creative without actually giving out scholarships.they don't, but I do think St. Thomas will give out finacial packages based on income...could be wrong though

How did he get it all paid for? Was he low income? The financial aid package for athletes in non-scholarship leagues make up for the difference. I had a friend who went to Princeton to play football. Don't get me wrong, he was a very good student. It helped that he was a stud football player. His school was paid for.
Not at all...both his parents were teachers....Ivy League (and similar non-scholarship conferences) use this as a way of attracting good athletes. Watch Princeton basketball....you think all those player's parents can afford to send their kids to an Ivy League school? How did he get it all paid for? Was he low income?
