Thanks for putting this together. Seems like a lot more parity this season (win percentage)...or is that just me not remembering correctly?
 

I always like seeing this, and seeing how the conferences line up against each other is one of the things I've always liked about bowl season. But it hardly seems to matter anymore, with so many opt-outs. I know we've had more of those in recent years, but this year it seemed to explode with players entering the portal before bowl games.

Pretty even. I do a bowl pick-em with friends and it's getting harder and harder to pick correctly with all the opt outs and transfer portal guys. Used to be maybe one top player or because a head coach took a new job was the only thing considered.
 

I disagree with the thread title. Conference don’t play in bowl games, teams do.

I used to enjoy this as well, but feel it’s hardly worth looking at now with the transfers and opt outs. For example, jNW beating Utah doesn’t tell us anything meaningful of B1G vs PAC

Utah is a Big 12 team now anyway.
