Do you honestly think it will matter?Missouri loses to Arkansas. Drops to 131 in the NET. Might end up being a Q4 loss when all said and done.

Pretty sure it’s about the end of the season rankings in the NET. Selection and others can give definitive answers.I still don’t have a clear understanding of Quad wins and losses. Is it all based on final position? If you beat a “top tier (Q1)” team early in the season and they fall off and end up being a Q3 team in the end, was you win a Q1 or a Q3?
If you lose to a Q4 team early but they exceed expectations over the season and end up a Q2 team, is it an OK (Q2) loss instead of a Q4?
It's fluid and constantly changing. That's why you cheer for teams you beat to do well.I still don’t have a clear understanding of Quad wins and losses. Is it all based on final position? You also said Penn State had a much better roster than Minnesota in the off season.I don't. But I got called out by several for saying Missouri was bad.

AgreedLooks like I was wrong on that.
Agreed
They also lost to Bucknell and lost to the worst coach in B1G history per some at home.Yep, also, they beat a ranked team and have as many B1G wins as us. FWIW.

We're told that Clem's record was bad his first two seasons here, so yes, we're going to the Sweet Sixteen this year.Do you honestly think it will matter?
As long as Ben is the next Coach K or at least the next Clem Haskins, all is well. We're told that Clem's record was bad his first two seasons here, so yes, we're going to the Sweet Sixteen this year.
The NIT is pickier these days...Do you honestly think it will matter?
That guy is the real deal. Took Kennesaw State from really bad to tournament in a couple years. Starting a similar trajectory at South Florida.Amir Abdur-Rahim has South Florida on a 6 game win streak. The Bulls have won 12 of the last 13
What's the name of that 3rd tier tourney after the NIT? I'm thinking we might find a slot thereThe NIT is pickier these days...
CBI and those are mid majors. Minnesota may want to relegate to the horizon league and compete thereWhat's the name of that 3rd tier tourney after the NIT? I'm thinking we might find a slot there
I don’t think Kansas will fall that far. What's the name of that 3rd tier tourney after the NIT? I'm thinking we might find a slot there
Power 5 teams almost never play in those anymore. Though Ben could do his non-conference scheduling there. What's the name of that 3rd tier tourney after the NIT? I'm thinking we might find a slot there
Run the same thing through the computer adding "and shot 38 fewer free throws."
Go Gophers!!
Just read it was some kind of local school day, so the 11 a.m. start was a field trip time for local elementary schools. Kinda cool.Green Bay won earlier today. Beat IUPUI 79-56
10 out of the last 12 for the Phoenix
Why the 11:00 start? Dang that is early. Oddly enough when they played IUPUI on the road that was also the start time on Jan 10th which is a Wednesday.
Making a game of it….Nebraska came absolutely rumbling back over these past five minutes.
