Probably discussed, but next year's schedule it brutal.

Five home games to open the season and then only 2 of the last 7 at home. If not for hosting Colorado, the home schedule is terrible.

New Mexico State
Western Illinois
Colorado
Iowa
Rutgers
Purdue
Northwestern

Maybe use Season ticket funds to go on a couple road trips. Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan State, Penn State, and Wisconsin.

Great schedule to go 7-0 at home against. BEAT IOWA

go 2-3 or 3-2 on the road and it’s a really good season

go 4-1 on the road and it’s a great season

At least we will get the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best teams from the Big Ten West to play at home. Should increase our chances of repeating as division winners.

+1000

And since 2019 we have been a really good road team under Fleck. Take care of business at home then go win a few on the road and it is a great season.

2022 marks the start of the next six year rotation of the dumbass nine game conference scheduling system, where we'll get to play lackluster Michigan St, instead of powerhouse Maryland.

Just in time!

Terrible to play Iowa so early.

We see this year what a big difference it makes, as far as playing them early vs later in the year.

Gonna be tough sledding, and no matter how you slice it -- guys on the roster now vs (and/or) transfers from the portal -- gonna be a mostly new offensive line.

Maybe new QB? Who knows.

I'm gonna focus on this year.

Iowa hasn't changed, their opponents just stopped giving them the ball at a crazy pace and started making their offense move the ball....which they can't.

It's probably a little early to say the Purdue or Northwestern games won't be quite meaningful. Purdue doesn't seem far off and Northwestern rarely has two bad years in a row under Fitz.

As one of the Old Ones said...

That is the equation no matter at home or away. Extra points to who can identify the Old One with this quote...

This by the way is one of the best of the original Star Trek episodes.

We’re going to MSU game. Until this year I’m sure every other fan base figured us as a toss up game.

Fitz wins the Big Ten West in even years, and sucks in odd years. This is known.
