We are going to stink for next year and for years to come. Have you seen next year's schedule? We are playing top teams all year and will get throttled and embarrassed easily in several games on national TV (and will be laughed at by recruits and others). What recruits and in the portal are we going to get? No one. Who would want to come here when they see we don't have any QBs, any WRs or a RB after Mo that's even in the same stratosphere as him? Not to mention a defense that is going to lose a ton of talent.
Add in the fact that USC and UCLA will be here and more in just a couple years and you can kiss even going to low bowl games goodbye. Fire Fleck and get in someone who knows how to coach. Get in an offensive coordinator who doesn't run his RB into the ground like we do now. Get one who can actually get QBs who can actually throw and WRs and TEs who can catch. Get a defensive coordinator who can get some depth behind his first stringers. Get a special teams coordinator who can actually get a real kicker and can make a kick and doesn't make you hold your breath on chip shot field goals and extra points. Get a punter who can actually punt and flip the field every once in a while.
The Gophers are doomed for years to come. They have no good recruits coming in (when was the last one who even committed anyway? Like July?) and some are even leaving when they see how we can't beat a team with a record above .500. We will lose to Wisconsin and get crushed in our bowl game no matter where or when it is. They have a nearly impossible schedule next year and in the coming years with UCLA, USC, and freaking Alabama on the upcoming schedules. They don't have a coach or coaches who know how to coach pee wee kids. Face it. We are doomed to be in the basement and doormat for the rest of eternity.
