Excited for Wednesday.
Kind of hope Portland takes out LAFC.
unfortunately I don't want to play either team right now...

Upcoming schedule (rank in supporter's shield standings in parentheses - MN is currently 6)
7/10 vs NM (USOC)
7/13 vs Dallas (9)
7/20 @ RSL (14)
7/27 vs Vancouver (21)
8/4 vs Portland (15)
8/7 Potential USOC Semifinal
8/10 @ Dallas (9)
8/14 vs Colorado (22)
8/17 vs Orlando (18)
8/22 @ SKC (20)
I was doing some math.
Need 5 wins and 5 ties out of the last 15 games IMO for playoffs.
Even with how close the standings are? Pretty bunched up at this point, it might make a huge difference who our wins vs ties vs losses are against.
MNUFC take on Portland at Allianz twice in 4 days.
MLS game on August 4th
USOC game on August 7th

Lod officially signed. I imagine he'll take a few weeks to get paperwork complete and acclimated to the team - maybe see his on-field debut against Portland in early August?
The best part of that save video (besides the save of course) is that stadium was so loud no one could hear the whistle. After we were all done screaming and high fiving eachother we were all trying to figure out what was going on, on one end of the field there were 6 guys umping on our goalie celebrating on the other end Ibarra was on an epic break away 1v1 with the goalie then the ref called it back we had no idea what was going on.
That was nuts watching it on TV. Can't imagine what it was like at the stadium.
Loons win over Portland. Up to 2nd place in the West!! Might be third by the end of the day but hey, I'll take what I can get!
How do these player transfers work in soccer. We just paid $2.8M (or something around that amount) for Thomás Chacón to join us, where we "own" 70% of his rights. Who gets that $2.8M, the player or his old team? I'm guessing it goes to his team, so what does the player get? And what say does the player have in making the decision as to where they're "sold"? Do team's really own a player, so they can't leave to join another league unless someone "buys them"?
