They will be posted at www.gophersports.com .
Yeah, 2014 is killer. Like that 2013 schedule though. Away games are Indiana, Northwestern, Michigan and MSU, and we get Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State and Wisconsin at home.
They kept the Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin games all on the same schedule as 2011-2012. We play all three at home in 2013, and have to once again go on the road to all three within 4 weeks in 2014....brutal.
Also, apparently Michigan State is our new end of the year rival. We play them the last week of the season in 2012, 2013 and 2014.....

Thoughts: That 2013 schedule sets up very nicely for a championship run. If Kill has it humming by his 3rd year (like he has at every previous stop), that schedule couldn't be much better for us to finally make a New Year's Day bowl. The downside is that we will be breaking in a new starter at QB that season - likely Shortell.
Wow! Does the big ten not understand who each teams biggest rivals are? First game of year in Big Ten in 2013 Iowa?
Then in 2014 we have both WI and Iowa back to back on the road. Do they have Michigan playing Michigan State and then Ohio State back to back on the road?
I hope we have an interesting non conference schedule in 2014 because the only home games that will peak any interest is michigan, and maybe Penn State.
I will give them a F-
Look at the composite schedule before flipping out, would ya?! Week 1 vs Iowa (not on the road as you point out). There are only TWO B1G GAMES that week, us vs Iowa and Becky at osu. That is awesome, IMO. Should get some good tv coverage to show off TCF on a beautiful fall day, you would hope. In 2013-2014. Indiana has three sets of back to back road trips against Ill/PSU, MSU/michigan, and Wis/osu. I know they're not rivalry games like you point out, but its not unprecedented. There's others that play back to back road games as well, but I'm just too lazy to type it out*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# happens, get over it.
The 2014 home schedule isn't that bad. North Carolina, Mich, and MSU I'm excited. Northwestern has been a great match up the past few seasons. Not marquee, but solid match ups.
Here are the composites for 13-14

The 2014 home schedule is brutal. Of course it will be coming off of the Rose Bowl in 2013, so ticket sales won't be a problem.
Did you mean road schedule? The home schedule doesn't seem that tough to me. Michigan looks like the only tough home game, and that's only if they return to being "Michigan" over the next couple years.
By his comment on ticket sales I think he means quality of home schedule not toughness.

Where did I write on the road in 2013 against Iowa? Good you can read now try comprehending what was written?
I am still saying that you will not see Michigan or Ohio State opening up there big ten schedule against each other.

One change that I would really like to see to the B1G schedules is the home/away scenarios with our two biggest rivals. How hard would it be to make sure that every year we have either Iowa or Wisconsin and home instead of how it currently is with getting them both home or away each year. This would guarantee one major rival home game each year and avoid having to play both of them and Nebraska away every other year. Also helps a lot in balancing the home schedule for ticket sales.
Thoughts:
- No Ohio St. for 4 YEARS IN A ROW.
2014My fault. Your sentence structure and using the word 'in' twice made it seem that you thought we played at Iowa. My bad. I still have a valid point. There is only one other B1G game that weekend, which is great for exposure. I believe we play at PSU for the opener the next year with only one other B1G game as well.
Since you're being a d!ck, PSU is on the road in 2014, there's no thing as a F- (you can't do worse than failing), and there versus their versus they're![]()
We should be playing our rival at the end of the year.
I totally agree. I'm just not holding out a lot of hope for it since the B1G seems inclined to avoid cross-division scheduling that week to eliminate the chance of a repeat in the following week's CCG.
That's true, but because OSU-Michigan is an end-of-season game and it is a cross-division game, that means that there will always have to be at least one other cross-division game that week, so why not Minnesota-Wisconsin?
