2010 Schedule

This is a really difficult schedule to predict. We could improve a little and have a terrible outcome. Or we could improve a little beyond that and be Rose Bowl bound. This is the kind of schedule you'd want if you were a top tier team. This is the kind you'd hate if you were a bottom tier team. We're in the middle. It could go either way.

Without seeing an improved offense, we're 5-7. Ugh. If our offense steps forward?? Sky's the limit.

Offense!, What about our defence, our offense could put up 30 pts. + a game and it won't matter unless our defence improves and I mean quick or our record will be a lot worse than 5-7.

When I left Campus Pizza I just didn't know what to think. Everything I wanted to see i saw. But I had no idea the secondary would be so bad.

If you would have told me that two games in our offense would be rolling but our defense couldn't stop USD, I wouldn't have believed either. I've never seen such a gaping hole. Even Brews first year the secondary wasn't this bad, and they were bad.

College football, what you going to do. You lose your top talent every year and replace them with scrawny unknowns.

Very true. I thought we'd see modest gains on offense and a small step back on defense. Resulting in some better football and about the same record. Never did I imagine the defense would be so bad. I don't think size or athleticism was the problem last Saturday, it was brains. They totally got mugged by a much more saavy group of coaches and players. Rarely was anyone near where the play was going. It's hard to catch a guy who 10-15 yards ahead of you.
