30 years ago today we had the big Halloween Blizzard. that started on halloween night. I remember so well. got to stay home friday as school was closed. what you remember about the blizzard.

I drove from St. Cloud to NE Mpls in my Ford Escort. My girlfriend was terrified but we made it. I don't know how I did it, but I really wanted to get to a wedding of a best friend. Hwy. 10 was a mess but my little crappy car was amazing.

I made an absolute killing that night because so many people called it a night early. I remember going up to porches and people dumping their entire bowls into my bag.

My sister only lasted about 20 minutes and my mom made me share with her when I got home. I've hated socialism ever since .

I don't remember a thing...As I was born just a few short days later. But apparently it made the ride to the hospital harder than it needed to be.

Halloween of '91 I would have been living in Platteville, Wisconsin.

went back and looked, and that part of WI only got about 3 or 4" of snow tops, so I don't remember it at all. That was pre-internet and pre-computer days for me, so I don't even know if I heard about how bad the storm was in MN.

November 1, 1991 was my biggest money making day in tips & delivery fees.
