130pm kickoff week 9 against Rutgers

Wow, never would have guessed that they would have a game (by anyone) that overlaps both the early (11am & 2:30 pm) windows.

Only 5 Big 10 games that day, so less inventory. Maybe with only 1 game on BTN, just did it to see how it's received.

Only 11am game that day is Ohio St vs Penn St, so that will be a stand alone for the conference for most of that contest.

Who knows, broadcast windows could change in this new TV package. 1:30 pm may not be a rarity. Would work fine when playing USC/UCLA or any other PAC12 school that joins the conference.

From the tweet it's actually 1:30 PM CDT, as Daylight Savings Time does not end until November 6. Wouldn't hurt to get there early though, I hear there are long lines at The Bank.

The last Gopher home game to kick off in the 1 o'clock hour was back in the Mason era at the HHH Dome. September 16, 2006 Minnesota beat Temple 62-0. Last Big 10 home game was October 23, 2004 when Minnesota beat Illinois 45-0. Both games are listed as 1 PM starts in wiki.

So it appears as though the Gophers are pretty much unstoppable when kicking off in the 1 PM hour, racking up another bagel against Rutgers. 31-0.
