Ms state - tough, 31-17 win
Akron - win by 26
@ UW - lost to Wisconsin. Qb tried to leave. Bad Chemistry, gophers 28 Washington 24
Michigan - Michigan is Mid 21-14
@ Purdue - east W by 20, revenge for it being close last year
Bye - automatic
Iowa - they return nothing, gophers win 5-3
@ Indiana - they come back to earth at 8-4…this is one of the 4.
UCLa - November in Mn, win by 30
@ Iowa state, I mean Penn state, who goes 7-5…this is one of the 5
Northwestern - revenge game. 31-21
Wisconsin - win by forfeit because their whole team already in portal

Lost B1G Title game on OSU. Left out of CFP for not beating anyone good so that 7-5 Alabama can get in.

Logic is impeccable ...
 





Know that as a true Gopher fan, your soul will be crushed. You can choose. Either acknowledge it at the start of the season or hold out hope that it will not happen. I’ll be glad to wrong, but hasn’t happened in my lifetime.

This sentiment is absurd when Indiana won the national championship last year.

Before the beginning of the first game, I pour a nice glass of bourbon, toast the coming season, and know that it will be the best I feel about the Gophers all year.

One year, I'll be completely wrong. This post gives me hope and warm fuzzies!

Slowly making my way down the list, the Iowa one made me lol. Really though, imagine how insane the Bank will be if we roll into the Iowa game at 6-0 .
 

I love the optimism. It will be tough to win @Washington only because they don't lose at home very often. It will be tough to win @Indiana due to the level of talent they have and they are certainly a top 5 team once again. But I do believe we can beat the other 10 teams if we put things together. 10-2, 9-3 is definitely not impossible with the roster we have in 2026. Go Gophers!
 


It is a year where it's possible...we have 9 guys listed in the Top 100 list. We have a couple others who could be. We have some freshmen wild cards. Our QB is picked as a 1st round NFL candidate by some...that hasn't happened since Leidner.

The 4 new offensive coaches can have an impact.

The special teams will definitely be improved.

If Corey Heatherman was our DC we'd all be saying we'd be disappointed if it didn't happen...this is our year. We need to get aggressive once again on defense.

And our kickers have never played...as another maybe yes, maybe no.
 

You're wrong. You don't have us winning the bye week. That was the most important win we had last year.
