Sad to see this, he was a cornerstone for Musselman’s pre-game theatrics at The Barn.

Was this the same Crazy George who worked Vikings games in the '80s at the Metrodome?

Go Gophers!!
Remember him at the Mussellman basketball camps. Kept campers entertained and enjoying the game.

Check on Ragnar! I went back and checked on what happened to Ragnar and the story is classic ‘do not bite the hand that feeds you.’ In 2015 he demanded a 10 yr contract that would pay him 20k/game. He was getting 1,500/ game. He was never an employee and was no longer a part of game day. Bruh simply blew it.

The highlight of the 1973-1974 season was Schauer hitting a shot against Illinois. It was a Saturday afternoon game and it generated the loudest cheer of the year at Williams Arena. The gloom of losing to Iowa and Northwestern in the last two Big Ten games in ‘73 and blowing the Big Ten championship (and a mediocre team in ‘74) seemed to hang over the arena until the Thompson/Lockhart/Olberding recruiting class took the floor for the ‘75 season.

Did Ragnar have a skill set other than wearing fur? 🤔

Asking for a 1300% raise is a bold move. We can see it definitely did not pay off.
