I think he is worth a roll of the dice for many teams. When we saw him his OL was pretty much just jello.... At the same time I gotta assume Oregon has better prospects too.

I started crunching the numbers and got to here.

To me he seemed like the heir apparent and was getting better as he got the ball. But otherwise I really don't know all the factors these guys are thinking of so if it's a bad choice ... maybe but I don't know that.

My understanding is: His argument is that in his 2nd year (at another school) he was dealing with some health issue (2022). NCAA says that the rules say he should have made that argument at that time and submitted the evidence of it then to argue for a red shirt, way back in 2022. Not years...

I think big name transfers were rare for sure. But mid and low level players transferred before the rule changes, we just didn't talk about it and yeah you wouldn't get them with a history of like 5 schools, but transferring itself at mid to and more so low level players was common enough...
