    My own theory: Food service businesses have high overhead costs with staff, food, rent that burn through cash in a fairly inflexible rate. You can start so many businesses where your costs can be managed if you start slow, while you're "figuring things out" or have some downturn. Restaurants...

    It's always hard to know for sure but I agree, there's those guys you get as a rental (to some extent everyone is) where it is what it is and there's no magic to keeping them.

    I sometimes post this story, but this is when the vibe changed around the gophers: Not a lot of people at that game, but it was LOUD, and the crowd just ... just knew something was different about this team now with PJ around. Old crowds would have been "ho hum, here we go, going to lose"...
