I think this team actually overachieved… This could have been a 3 or 4 win team and a “rebuilding” year, but this team gritted out a lot of wins 👍🏻

It's college football... there's no keeping players for 10 years. It's always changing. Based on talent level ... I'd argue that last years team actually underachieved and this years has to some extent overachieved.

Wow bringing Smith back would be great. I wouldn’t blame him for opting for the draft.

On the topic of kick returns: I sometimes wonder if kick returners would do better if they risked taking a loss now and then by running "against the grain" (laterally to the opposite side of the field) and hopefully opening up more space vs the typical method of plowing forward and hoping for...

Facts. I think this is a very wobbly team, but that doesn’t mean I’ll take everything away from the wins they got.

This fits my interpretation of this team really balances on a knife edge between being great for short periods of time, but also plays like a three win team for periods of time. This could’ve been a really nasty rebuilding year, but they have managed to gut out quite a few wins.

He did good on the return and forced fumble. But he has wiffed on tackles or just thrown his shoulder wildly and not wrapped up a lot this year too. He seems athletic but rough around the edges.

Doc: "I dunno... doesn't seem like a concussion to me..." Coach: "Have you seen this guy play?!?!?!"
