My understanding is that it’s no longer a May window. The window to officially enter the transfer portal was moved up to April 15 - April 30. It’s open now.
He’s a second year player staring at three more years of the Greek Rifle under center. And that’s not counting being behind Kramer and the possible emergence of true freshman Viotto. Quarterbacks in that kind of position move on.
I don’t know, I think I’ll disagree. The best games for Potts came in the first half of the season, then he kind of fell off the cliff. His last three games:
5 carries, 13 yards
2 carries, 2 yards
9 carries, 27 yards
Isn’t Finnessy expected to miss the year with an injury, or at least a significant portion of the season? Either way, some youngsters are going to need to step into important roles.
I wonder what he expected. As a mid 3-star, did he expect to come in and start his first or second year? Seems early to pull the plug unless he thinks he’s much better and further along than the coaching staff apparently does.
Nevertheless, it does clear the decks a bit for others.
Your choices are certainly your own. But New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco are three of the great cities not just in this country but in the world. Mississippi and Alabama are beautiful. I’ve never been to China or Russia or North Korea.
I don't think that's speculation at all. If Athan wasn't at least QB3, that would mean true freshman Jacob Knuth had already passed him up.
I think this is Athan's team starting next season.
