Why wouldnt you pay 2 mill/yr. for this excellence. How could a AD justify that salary to the University?

All us fans looked forward to how good this team was going to be a couple years ago when Tubby's first class were going to be upperclassmen the bigtime Minnesota kids were staying home and the team was going to be one of the most talented in a long time? These last 2 years have really sucked ass.

Is he now on the team? Is he playing basketball this year?

Anyone with some info if the Gophers are recruiting the Chambers kid from Hopkins? I see they are after Paige from Iowa but that doesnt seem too likely with all the big names after him. What other in-state juniors is the team looking at?

Whats the deal with Missouri not getting any interest in expansion? Seems like they would be a perfect fit plus they have big time markets in St. Louis and Kansas City.
