Correct and we are paying the buyout to get a coach here. I find it different to pay for one to come here vs paying one to go away. It’s not the same even with loss of some revenues. Also it’s year 2 vs 5 so it’s not the same comparison there either.

Those wins are awesome, but hardly why I like her (I appreciate the years of winning in a row more). I was curious why the poster wouldn’t share why they didn’t like her. That poster seems to have some connections.

I personally haven’t served in an administrative role. I have lots of friends coaching who are or have been higher up in MSHSL or have been section reps.

Many times it’s about capacity for home gyms. I was more going on that the meet at regionals works for some sections, but others don’t want to. It’s also a lot cheaper to not rent a college gym. I think most sections do well for their specific needs.

so the constant sarcasm is ok if it’s negative? The constant complaining is on if it’s negative? No one is denying this year was awful. It’s fine for others to try and have some hope. You can ignore them just like they can ignore the others.

Originally 64, then some applications to drop down or opt up lead it to not being 64 in the end. They start with outstates first then divy up the metro. It’s a long process and it different in all sports.

The members of a section assign a rep. They report to the MSHSL. Most of this is done through the ADs of teams in the sections. MSHSL doesn’t want it consistent because the needs of the sections greatly vary.
