Golden Dunkers and Pitino putting on a gathering at Canterbury on Thursday. Signed up with my wife and looking forward to meeting Coach Pitino and a few of the Dunkers...any other Gopherholers going to be there? Sounds like the invite went out to all season ticket holders.

At the football game this afternoon as they announced the Land O Lakes donation. Other than a few scattered folks standing, the response was pathetic. We have been waiting for the lead donor, the big fish, to step up and set an example. Land O Lakes did and the response was lame. Hugely...

I saw Tubby and coaches from Gonzaga and Drake at a gym in Edina yesterday watching what I assume was an open gym. There have been posts that they may look at Woodward and/or Lynch...what can coaches do now from a recruiting standpoint?

Now that the season is officially over, when do we expect to hear about transfers, defections, etc? It would be nice to know the final available scholarship count...determine just how much work Tubby still has to do.

Are we waiting for Cory to decide or are we waiting for him to communicate his decision? Is he waiting for additional information that may influence his decision or is he just having a hard time pulling the trigger? :confused:

While there appears to be identifiable reasons for the program defections, is there a chemistry issue with the club? From what I have heard (mostly on this board), Westbrook was the guy that was the center of any negative chemistry. With him gone, I anticipated improved chemistry and not transfers.

When/how will we get confirmation that LOIs have been submitted? Is it just Maurice and Cory we are waiting for? Did EE and Hollins sign in the earlier period? I love the football process where the staff was on line for a good portion of the morning.

I usually get out to the board 2-3 times a day...with the upcoming signing period, Walker, Joseph and Larson, I find I can't go more than about 30 minutes without checking the board. Combine that with the Twins opener and not much work is getting done this afternoon.

In an earlier thread there was mention of the student section being somehow controlled by controlling who sits in certain rows and a few other things...can someone elaborate? I am well beyond "student age" but am disappointed to hear there are these type of things going on. The spirit comes from...
