    NCAA Recruiting Crackdown?

Stories like this make me glad we have Tubby. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/basketball/ncaa/10/29/ncaa.board.ap/index.html What are teams going to do if they can't hire high school coaches to attract recruits?

    ProFootballTalk.com rips Twin Cities Media

I don't want to start another long thread about the Minneapolis media but thought the last paragraph was hilarious: So why wasn't this previously known? Though the specific date of the August arrest isn't known, the Minnesota media in that time period was tracking another fairly significant...

The Big 10 is Crap? Really?

I know it's only been two weeks and most teams play powderpuffs in the first few weeks but the conference records are as follows: B10 - 18-4 P10 - 14-4 SEC - 16-5 BEast - 11-4 B12 - 16-6 ACC 14-9 MWC 11-6 Even the B10 losses are mostly close. Except for Illinois blowout the other three...

    More Injuries to B10 Starters

Illinois CB tore his left ACL and is out for the season according to ESPN. He was a projected starter. I feel terrible for him as he was out last year with a right ACL tear. :(

    Interesting Comentary: Lance Stephenson

Top 10 recruit without a school and the reason coaches give: terrible teammate. Just goes to show how important team unity is to coaches. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/blog/the_dagger/post/Do-teams-still-want-Lance-Stephenson-?urn=ncaab,167162

    Calipari to Kentucky?

According to ESPN (just reported on Sportscenter) Cal has met with his players and they got the feeling he was goingto Kentucky calling it, "the Notre Dame of basketball". I agree Kentucky is like Notre Dame, a storied school on the decline.
