I’ve talked to people who would know and they have said that Johnson has done an awesome job in this recruiting process. I know the coaching staff at LN really likes Johnson.

I’d rather have Ben Johnson managing the scholarships than you….maybe he wanted to save some of the scholarships for 23 because he knew there were guys he wanted and felt good about them committing.

Macura didn’t play much at all for Lakeville North as a 10th grader. LN finished 2nd in state that year. I didn’t think Tubby screwed that up as much as other things with Macura.

I’ve said for a while….I’m pretty confident he is going to be a Gopher. The Gophers have made him a priority since last summer. I still think the biggest threat is Stanford and not Wisconsin.

The Gophers have made Winter a top priority. He may not go here but I don't think he will go to Wisconsin. Could I be wrong? I suppose...but I don't think I am. If he doesn't go here I don't think it will be because our coaching staff has been outworked.
