Darrell Thompson grew up in Rochester and the mother of his sons is white (his wife) so you can’t race bait about the names of their children. Mychal Thompson is from the Bahamas and no relation to Darrell.

East Ridge got a lead…then held the ball quite a bit of the 2nd half. Park guards couldn’t catch ER guards.

Nice story of Payne/Park in Strib on Wednesday…..in the high school hoops section. They play East Ridge tonight.

I would be surprised if they took both Winter and Kapke. Maybe they can incentivize by taking the first one to commit? Holy Family doesn't play as tough a schedule as Lakeville North, but they (staff) no doubt saw what they needed to see last summer and offered both. Trouble is you don't...

Sorry….. NOT LN, but Rosemount…..also a pretty good club.

Park has several losses….most before Payne returned from injury. They are in the same section as Lakeville North and Eastview….can certainly play with them, but will be seeded lower.

Dodd is a very interesting player. Not a shooter, but a great passer and finisher at high school level. Maybe they think it will hurt with Chatman? I don’t think he’s 6-2, but doesn’t need it with his quicknes…..certainly worth monitoring, as he is uncommitted on another note, Payne is playing...

The great part is…..you can’t tell if he had a rooting interest. Maybe he didn’t? Well done by both players and announcer.
