I think there’s a lot of truth in that. Seems like many NE fans are getting behind Mickey Joseph for the job because he delivered a home win against Indiana. Who would have thought it?
The difference is that Joel Klatt has always been extremely plugged into to the college football scene and knows his stuff better than almost anyone around. Definitely the informed voice you should be paying attention to rather than that Herbstreit hack that’s distracted by the NFL.
Yeah but there’s been a major shift in the political climate of the mass media since Me Too. IMO there’s no way Kare 11 would risk facing a backlash by running that story.
Agreed. Always thought it seemed a bit ridiculous to send 10’s of thousands of pieces of rubber into the environment 7 times a year. But I’m also a fun hater that has always thought balloons were pointless.
It’s going to be really interesting to see how his game translates to the NBA. He could be a phenomenal player with today’s style but the track record for rail thin bigs staying healthy isn’t good.

Darn. Really enjoyed their new tradition of their fans sadly holding onto their balloons for 2+ quarters.
Yeah it seems pretty obvious that the Vikings front office felt that the number of high impact players in this draft fell somewhere between 34 and 43. I don't like swapping the second for the third as part of the deal but I get why they did it.
Not surprising. I've primarily switched my basketball consumption almost exclusively to the NBA over the last two years. With the chaos created by the combo of NIL and the transfer portal I don't think I'll be coming back. I can't imagine being a coach and having to deal with this stuff.
