Watching Auburn-Tennessee, and hadn't really looked that closely at Dalton Knecht's progression, so thought to look it up. Pretty amazing. Per Wikipedia. . . Knecht grew up in Thornton, Colorado and attended Prairie View High School.[1] He entered his sophomore year at 5'8" and grew to 6'1" by...

insure/ensure. underrated humor there. I think in this case it would be ensure. A good chance I'm wrong though.

I missed the games last night, and didn't realize Nevada's win over CSU was in Ft. Collins. That's a big road win for Nevada no doubt.

I guess I see it differently. They've gotten more bids because they deserve them. With a win or go home set up, that's a big part of the magic of the tournament. San Diego State's Final 4 run and consistent play over recent years, along with movement up by a few other teams, has changed that...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT NEBRASKA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Like other arenas, it has to be a conscious decision by U of M Admin and is not a unique dilemma. . The smart schools find a way to appeal to both. Court side seats for the fat cats, but just beyond that, get the students involved. Williams Arena at least on tv, doesn't give that raucous (near...

New Mexico no easy finish either. I think Mtn West will shake up a bit next year. Lon Kugler's son Kevin starts to lock in at UNLV, with a great PG and some other additions. I think next year that conf. only gets stronger. I remember when we used to call them mid-majors. No longer really

Who 👃a 🌽 shucking on Sunday besides me?

I feel like that still leaves them in no mans land/limbo state, with too much room for poking at them. Beating IU and Penn State, and then adding one of Illinois, Nebraska or Northwestern isn't going to do it. MAYBE Illinois. Unless they add to it with a huge finish in the conf tourney. I think...

Who 👃a 🌽 shucking on Sunday besides me?

Carrington shuts/slows down Tominaga, and make it hard for Mask to do his high/low game, and the Gophers can open some eyes as it would be a really big road win in a tough arena.

What are the odds everyone comes back next year?

Enjoying the banter as always. Maybe the one thing I'm not sure on is the talk of NBA, G-League, etc. There are so many NBA draft boards, and if you look at a large enough sample size, it becomes pretty clear who is and isn't considered an NBA prospect (at least currently). Until that player's...

Avery Johnson on the broadcast is entertaining. Pete Gillen also works a lot of the Mtn West games and has some great one liners, including “the last time I was right, Moby Dick was a minnow…”

Big XII & SEC Sitting Pretty One Month from Selection Sunday

I think they may get in even if they win just 1 of the 3 on the road even given the opponents, so long as they win out at home. The road record is a blemish for sure, but as you said most already have them in, and they look the part. We'll see.

Good point. I can't figure out Colorado. They have decent size, and I think that true freshman Cody Williams is high on NBA draft boards. Plus I've always thought da Silva is really good. I see Williams has been out with a wrist injury so that explains part of their recent struggles.

Arizona completely took Colorado apart last night on CU's home court, where I don't think CU had lost all year. Tommy Lloyd sure loads up the talent, and Caleb Love has looked a lot more comfortable there, vs N. Carolina.

Jaedon LeDee got a few reps in on the bench press along with some curls for San Diego State before the game, but Nevada held court and it now goes to OT. Pete Gillen on the broadcast is always a treat.

Week #13 Field of 68 projection with a focus on "record vs. the field"

Colorado needs to earn their way in with a few tough matchups remaining, and we'll see what happens in the MVC tourney with Indiana State, Drake and Bradley. Maybe Indiana State could get an at-large even if they lose in that tourney. Drake will probably need to win it at this point.
