Lloyd: Is P.J. Fleck the most disrespected coach in America?

He's no different than many other successful coaches. His style makes him and he's not changing. As you said he's not for everyone.

Interview with Dinkytown Athletes co-founder Robert Gag

When considering expansion I'm pretty sure there the B1G is only considering one thing. And schedules for teams in non-revenue sports is not it.

How would you rate Gophers offseason in the portal?

I mentioned a fact from the tweet about the amount of transfers going to and coming from P5 programs and you called me a troll. If stating facts makes me a troll then so be it.

How would you rate Gophers offseason in the portal?

It's tough when facts hurt your feelings.

How would you rate Gophers offseason in the portal?

Interesting that they lost 8 players to transferred to other P5 programs and brought in 2 players from other P5 programs.

Top 10 College Football Defensive Coordinators per @PFF👀 (7. Joe Rossi)

I would say both are true. Particularly the B1G West has a lot of programs with offenses that don't typically keep opposing DCs up at night.

Reusse: Sept. 28, 1969 - This was the day the Vikings zipped past the Gophers and put them in the rearview mirror which those Gophers now share.

Yeah I should not have included regional interests. However the post I did reply to said "Minnesota" sports not Twin Cities. IMO Gopher football has the most loyal and passionate fanbase of all the sports teams here. They just don't have the shear numbers of the Vikings, Twins, & Wild.

Reusse: Sept. 28, 1969 - This was the day the Vikings zipped past the Gophers and put them in the rearview mirror which those Gophers now share.

This is a pretty bold statement. The fan base of the Gophers is driven largely by alumni while the Wild, Vikings, and Twins are state wide teams with a large casual fan base along with the fanatics. The Vikings and Twins also have fan bases in the Dakotas and Iowa simply because those states...

CBS: Big Ten schools eye stadium improvements in anticipation of hosting future College Football Playoff games

The biggest problem is the possibility of frozen fields. The only northern NFL stadium that doesn't have a heating system is Buffalo. So most NFL teams can keep their fields in decent shape in freezing temps. Most of the B1G teams have some sort of artificial turf which handles freezing...

    IAOW

Iowa fans are underestimating the loss of Jack Campbell. Iowa has some great defensive players coming back and they'll likely put out a stingy D but there is no replacing him in the middle of their D and in the locker room.

CBS: Big Ten schools eye stadium improvements in anticipation of hosting future College Football Playoff games

0 but not by choice. I would bet that most B1G teams would sell out a home playoff game in December pretty easily.

Big Ten Head Coaches 2023 Ranking: Part I The Bottom Half (8. Minnesota Gophers PJ Fleck)

Since the East/West split PSU has more outright B1G championships than the West division teams combined. They're 18-8 against the West. Northwestern & Nebraska has split with them. Every other West team has a losing record vs PSU. Wisconsin hasn't beaten PSU in over a decade. PSU might be okay...

Florida WR on Graham Mertz: "I feel like he's another Joe Burrow"

The SEC may not play great Defense but their defenses are also facing the best offensive skill players and QBs. It's not all that difficult to play D in the B1G West. Or in the East when you're not facing Ohio State, Michigan, or PSU.

KC Star: Kansas took two D-line transfers from Minnesota. They think Jayhawks are ‘hungrier’

I would agree with this. But there are so many transplants here that it's easy to find a fit eventually. And the more time I spent here the more native Minnesotans come around. I've heard the following statement or variations of it quite a few times and I think it's about as accurate of a...
