Could next weeks Iowa game be the coldest game in recent memory?

I was there for that one as well with my oldest. We were good through most of the game, but in the 2nd half it was catching up with us. I wore: Boxers, base layer tights, pair of jeans, snowpants. T-shirt, long sleeve thermal shirt, long sleeve thin shirt, sweathshirt, heavy coat that...

7-3!!! Do we crack the rankings?

We are #33 in the AP Poll receiving 7 vote points. Illinois ahead of us. I think Big Ten West is deserving of a team or two, but the voters have no idea who to put any trust behind. You look like an idiot voting for Iowa this year. Minnesota went through our unexpected losing skid without a...

7-3!!! Do we crack the rankings?

Iowa is starting to gain good National attention so beating Iowa would get us ranked.

Fleck now has 16 wins over P5 teams with a margin of 22 or greater

That's as many as we've had since 1990.

    Realistic expectations

Iowa is still learning what the transfer portal is. They've made zero use of it so far and only lost players via TP.

    Realistic expectations

Why did you go back 20 seasons for one, and only 6 seasons for the recruiting? You need to bring in 20 years of recruiting if you want to correlate it to 20 years of history. By mixing years of selection for your data, it's almost like you are trying to compare apples to oranges.

    We've stagnated. Tough conversation below

There's always gonna be another mountain. We're always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be an uphill battle Sometimes we're gonna have to lose Ain't about how fast I get there or about what's waiting on the other side It's the climb

Should the Big Ten go to Promotion / Relegation?

Should the Big Ten go to Promotion / Relegation?

With the scheduling all being tossed around, why not look at EPL soccer Promotion and Relegation? Based off of the 2021 standings, divsision A would be the top division, and the teams in Division A would have been: Michigan Ohio State Michigan St Minnesota Iowa Wisconsin Purdue Division B...

Jim Boeheim says success measured by NCAA tourney, takes shot at Big Ten

Not to mention, these ACC coaches don't speak up about this topic on the years where the ACC is out early and the Big Ten teams fair well. (every other year or so).

Hot take: We're just fine, PJ is doing fine.

If we go 9-3 with a bowl win, that would put us at 10-3 overall. Can't fire a coach with that type of record. You can't. It would be dumb.

Warren suggests Divisions could be gone when USC/UCLA join

I would assume on the tiebreaker it would be a question of which teams had the strongest wins, versus "did you lose to OSU or did you lose to Michigan State?"

Warren suggests Divisions could be gone when USC/UCLA join

You can have a title game without divisions. That rule change happened recently and that's why this whole discussion of removing divisions is being entertained.

As someone who went to the game tonight....

Whether the losses come in a row or not doesn't matter. It does if you are counting wins ahead or projecting out the season. But whether we lost to Purdue and Illinois or won, going into PSU was going to be a tough game with a new QB either way. There was a good amount of bad last night and...

As someone who went to the game tonight....

Regarding being glad you went to the game or not: If you were going and needing it to be a win in order for you to go, then it's definitely good you didn't go. (especially with the QB change). I went and it was definitely the best sporting experience I've probably been to in my 40+ years of...
