Interesting game, why would Duke schedule this? 8PM on ESPN 2....

The audio of the Wisc/Mich St game (at the half now) was muted for 95% of the 1st half --- had to really turn up the volume to hear Gus Johnson/Steve Smith do the play by play. Then, all of a sudden, the audio is corrected... How can the BT network be so asleep at the wheel?

at 7:40 this morning he was talking about the Gophers going to play at Iowa and mentioned that they should win that game because "Iowa isn't that good and Todd Lickliter is going to be gone" ..... Now Lickliter has had some health problems recently, but I've not heard anything about him...

After watching tonight the Mich St/Texas game along with the Kansas/Cal game...it's apparent that it would sure be nice if we had a point guard who could beat his man off the dribble (which we have) but then stop and shoot and make a basket (which we don't have) .... In other words, a huge hole...

He hasn't caught a pass this year. In the past he seemed to be a 'sure hands' type of receiver for this team. Maybe he's hurt? Don't know... not much has been said about him. It's not like we have world beater receivers out there week to week.

I'm sure he'll not give them much credit or any chance against UCONN ... This game kind of reminded me of the Louisville game out in AZ ... Louisville (as in AZ) shoots 60% for FT's, about 40% from the field, and had trouble with a tough smart defense.

Al Nolen had Manny Harris frustrated and would not let him get off his shot during the 2nd half. Tubby takes AN out and Manny goes crazy. Jamal has a sweet spin move from the baseline...I wish they would try to let him play along the baseline more often. He can go up and over smaller defenders...

NW is leading Purdue by 8 with a little over 5 minutes to play at Purdue....

Intense game as it should be. Purdue leading by 5 with a minute or so to go in the first half. Dickie V can't talk so much (cold) .. fun game.
