It'd be pretty gratifying to see him find redemption there, giving the Lobos some much needed and deserved winning while continuing to hone the areas of his craft which in my opinion need improvement, namely in-game coaching as well as roster management.

I don't blame Pitino and I never did. He was in over his head here in a job that given his lack of experience was just too big for him. That's not his fault. It's just a shame that we (speaking in terms of the U administration) wasted 8 far too long years in coming to that determination.

Not at all, and I would hope that Richard is better than to cling to that tired excuse. Injuries no doubt hurt greatly at the end of this season, but his record over his entire tenure here is what it is and he needs to take accountability for that.
