The Gophers were 8 of 17 on 3rd down, and how many of those 8 first downs were on the ground? Athan's arm got a lot of them. Like I've been saying, there were a lot of 3rd and longs that Athan had to deal with... so I'm not worried about him, I'm more worried about the lack of a run game.

I'm not worried about Athan, he was in 3rd and long all game. He never quit, and did well. a few bad passes, but he is young and talented. If we can find a run game, it will be a bit easier for him.

I really don't see this as Athan's fault, just notice how many 3rd and longs we have had to deal with. Zero running game, zero creativity, so they're getting defended easily.
