Strack: PJ Fleck Must Find Quarterback He Can Trust in Offseason

This thred is speaking about people - more coaches but at least giving notice about the need to upgrade who is behind center. I believe part of this has to go towards "Who are you going to find"? 4 and 5 star qbs aren't going to line up to run the style of play they have now. Is there an upgrade...

PJ Fleck compares Gophers' 'line of success' to the stock market

In reverse order - I believe I read where PJ was 8th in the B10 for Salary. As an educator, it was always about setting the expectations with kids high but acheivable. Those expectations have to be something a student can't acheive without putting the hard work in. We hear the word "Elite"...

An amazing collection of things I didn’t see coming

I expected the QB from the Wisconsin game last year. There was some creativity in the offense at that point. What nobody expected was "on the job training" from the OC position and people (but especially at QB) who seem scared to make plays, or lack the ability to think for themselves to do it...

Naw - Maybe my team needs to play better and coached to perform.

    Gutless Playcalling

PJ can stay. Coyle needs to inform him that some coaches will not be retained. There is ZERO immagination with this team or coaching staff. Just hard to watch...

What grade would you give Gophers coaches in OSU game?

F - You have to try.... There was no "try".

    NW

The point is that it is refreshing to see a team play hard, and probably outside their ability level, to win and be successful without excuses being made. You are correct - we and "it's on me" lost to both, including giving up over 600 yards to Purdue.

    NW

Northwestern just made a bowl by beating "explosive" Purdue. Credit where credit is due: NW plays damn hard and shows up every game to ball. None of that "It's on me" stuff. Refreshing to see.

Predict the Score Thread: Minnesota at Ohio State

Now the last ime, we played T-OSU tight until Mo got hurt.... Who am I fooling: The score will be 63-14ish with no momentum going into playing the skunks and no good reason why other than "It's on me"

    Jerry Kill

Jer' is from Kansas and learned recruiting from Kansas and K-State - 2 of the best at scheduling Directional Utah States.... It's all part of his master plan.....

    Jerry Kill

Regardless of potential health concerns, based on previous coaching efforts, Jerry Kill deserves all the credit he gets. His teams win and work hard. I'd take him again in a heartbeat, although Coyle would probably balk at it.

Fleck after Purdue loss, “It’s all on Me”.

Isn't everything? Now I will say this - this current team is less talented, so saying that to deflect off of players who don't have the ability of previous teams is understandable to a limited degree. It's been 7 years of that. That excuse was used when the team was better and couldn't win the...

FOS has obtained audio of the heated exchange between Lane Kiffin and DT DeSanto Rollins after Rollins' 'mental health break.’ $40MM lawsuit

To allow this is to put every college coach, regardless or sport, in a position where the players have control over the situation. As a coach, that would be the end.... NIL has already done much of that. Coaches still need some control of their teams.

    Fleck prediction

Been wondering about this, but I think its less about this year and more about whats coming. His teams missed their chances and now there are some teams coming in that could stomp a mud hole in them conceivably. He knows they missed their chance and its time to do the rah rah approach with...

Fleck after Purdue loss, “It’s all on Me”.

I'd give a $1 for one of the reporters to challenge him there or ask him why its on him?

PJ has to be on the hot seat right ? (nevermind ive been told to accept being mediocre when were good enough to be mediocre)

At the time this was typed, NW was beating the Skunks pretty good (24-3). If the Gophers beat those same skunks, then all will be forgiven and forgotten. This team lacks speed.....

    Sean Tyler?

Is Sean Tyler fixable at this point? Came in with a lot of hype and has put the ball on the carpet more proportionately that anybody I've ever seen.... They keep trying to find a way to get him onto the field and he keeps fumbling himself off....
