To expand the fan base into Canada, B1G should add the Univ of Toronto to the hockey league.

Yes, they put a slick mirror finish on that floor, and the scoreboard reflection lights it up.

***OFFICIAL LOYOLA MARYMOUNT AT MINNESOTA GAME #2 IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Winning a close game where you have to play hard to finish is better for this team at this point in the season than a blowout game where they win by 30. We had to get defensive stops late in the game, and we did. We had to find a way to get some points, and we did. We take the win, learn more...

***OFFICIAL UW-GB AT MINNESOTA SEASON OPENING IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I just listened to it on the radio versus watching it on TV, but I've got to say the crowd was into the game. Good to hear all the cheering from the fans in the stands at the game. :D

A Gopher wins Reusse's 2020 Turkey of the Year award

In the business world, you cut the divisions that are losing money and boost the ones that are making money. Cutting 10% across the board is a gov't approach to solving cash flow, not a business approach.

    Bateman opts out

This may be one of the big reasons he's calling it in for the season. I don't know what sort of bubble the players are living in these days. It's gotta be restrictive though. Now, he can roll as he wants.

1 big thing: 📺 Cable TV's slow, painful death

Get a clue. 5G is "rolled out". New phones have 5G chipsets. 5G towers are being built as fast as they can find crews to build them. There are already 6G satellites in orbit, so of course there are specs on 6G. And of course Huawei is investing in 6G, as is every major wireless firm. It's what...

    YouTubeTV drops Fox Sports North

Yep, it could simply be a "shot across the bow" from Sinclar to the YouTubeTVs of the world, basically saying we don't need you so agree to our terms or we'll just cut you out. We'll see what happens. The trend is moving away from big bundlers of channels (e.g., DirectTV or Dish) and towards...

    YouTubeTV drops Fox Sports North

Sinclair's RSN are planning to go direct to consumer and cut the YouTubeTV's and Hulu's out of that market segment. Per this article, coming soon we'll be able to purchase a "Fox Sports North" plan direct from Sinclair. I'm guessing you'll see this happen with other sports networks such as B1G...

1 big thing: 📺 Cable TV's slow, painful death

Cable of any type including fiber to homes is dying fast, in a decade it'll be dead. It'd just be like the gov't to jump in and spend huge amounts of taxpayer dollars to implement a dying technology. 6G wireless networks will provide over 90GB speeds and you'll see it rolling out by 2030. You'd...

    Wiscy Game Canceled

We could play Wisconson in our New Year's bowl game, keep it all within a B1G bubble.

Who thought the OPI call on Purdue was correct?

Clearly a foul that was called consistent with previous plays. The refs were calling it tight throughout the game. As a receiver, you have to be in tune with what the refs are calling and play within that parameter. A full arm extension push-off was going to get called, and it did.
