I think Pitino agrees with you, and that even with a blow-out win we won't see the bench players that haven't made the floor this season. I'd like to see it though, give the starters a breather in this game and let the bench get some experience.

No and no, but it still makes sense to do it. Having the best B1G team in the CFP makes sense, and I think most people feel that's the Buckeyes. As long as we get to play the BADgers, I'm happy.

High expectations matched with a bit of curiosity. He racked up a 44% 3-pt rating back in Turkey (going from memory on that one), and we could use a consistent 3-pt shooter (going with reality on that one).

OSU doesn't need to play in the B1G title game to get to the CFP. BTW, this would be a great year to do a one-time expansion of the CFP to 8 teams. The bowl situation is a mess. Having an 8 team playoff would make sense this year.
