I think that PJ sticks with Morgan, but I would like to see whoever is projected as next years QB, get some playing time. Ideally we get a good lead in the first half, then let the number two QB, get game time for most of the second half.
Beat Iowa and Wisconsin and a major bowl game is a given. We need to win the West to silence the naysayers, step one, towards national relevance. I don't think the CFP is obtainable this year.
My understanding is that, Frost's buyout is pretty steep at $20 million, money that Nebraska may not have. It goes down to 5 Million next year, unless they can fire Frost for cause, I think that they bite the bullet of one more year.
It looks like it'll be up to us to throw Iowa out of the polls. That suits me just fine! We need no other reason except Floyd, but beating the Squawkeyes and having them thrown out of the rankings, would be a sweet bonus.
We will either be at the bottom of the top 25 or just outside of it Win next week and we will be ranked. Iowa, got a lot of credit for beating a highly regarded Iowa St team, the current reality is that Iowa St isn't that good.
Other than Carter the other pretty good DBs were Willie Middlebrooks, Jimmy Wyrick and Dom Barber. I might have missed one or two but there weren't many.
Not too many interesting games. WI/Purdue, OkSU/ISU, and maybe Clemson/Pitt. There are a bunch of good teams on byes. Week 9 is a whole different story.
Let's get by Maryland, then the East sets up for a shakeout, with OSU/PSU AND MSU/Michigan. We can't underestimate Northwestern they annually seem to win one game the shouldn't even during sub par years.
