Yep. You lose 3 games and finish 5th in your conference you don't have a case to claim you should be in the playoff. Big Ten and SEC may be significantly tougher than the Big 12 or ACC right now but their conference champ still deserves a spot in the playoff. Would love to see Arizona State...
