I didn’t see them grilling brats on the upper deck like they have in previous years. I wonder if this new “brat dog” is an effort to reduce the lines at those upper level stands. The brat dogs are already made and just sitting in a warming cabinet.
Tried one of the “brat dogs” (brat in corndog form) from the upper deck concession pop-ups. Probably wouldn’t have another. Not nearly as good as a regular corndog. Would prefer a regular brat in a bun.
We’ll be there. Airfare was ridiculous but my brother-in-law has a place in Goodyear, AZ. So that helped reduce the pain a bit. I’ve always wanted to go to a Gopher bowl game. Figured this was a great opportunity to do it.
Also have a sister-in-law near Tampa, so was watching the Gophers...
Just got our tickets. We bought through the U and bought the "premium" tickets. We are in section 127 which appears to be at the 10 yard line. How the hell is that considered a "premium" ticket? If I'd have known that, I would have bought on my own through one of the available ticket sources.
nevermind…. Read it closer and see the U lists the premium sections you already noted. Bummer. Not sure why they’d stick the most expensive premium seats on the ends of the sidelines.
My take on his comment is this.... there's a prominent view, as seen often on this board as well, that there's no reason to cancel or postpone the football season. The argument made is that this is not really a risk to these young healthy guys and anyone who thinks football is a risk is just a...
I don’t disagree with your statement. But I think it has more to do with liability the schools and league willing to take on. Getting hurt during a play is part of the game. Ending up in a hospital after a stupid night of drinking is outside of the school’s control. Getting a viral disease and...
I don’t see games happening in empty stadiums. This thing is going to have to be in a pretty controlled state before I see them risking it. If the situation isn’t safe for fans in the stands, it won’t be safe for players on the field either. Counting players, coaches, staff, trainers...
Agreed. I’ll be standing if for no other reason than I don’t want my rear on that cold plastic seat. But I’ll be jumping up and down and losing my voice as well, touchdown, interception, touchdown, touchdown... right up to the storming of the field.
I tried to search for this but wasn't coming up with an answer. New hockey season ticket holder here. If you don't have the pre-purchased parking passes, how much is the day-of parking at Lot 37?
