I would honestly like to see what the team looks like with JMac starting and DLo leading the bench unit. Unfortunately there isn't a point guard they can trade for that really makes sense. They need someone to initiate the offense who isn't going to really want a ton of shots. Brunson would have...
The only players they drafted in that trade were Vando and Kessler and Bolmaro. Vando is a wonderful player, but if he's starting for you there is a real ceiling to how good you can me. Kessler and Bolmaro were complete question marks. So this statement doesn't make sense at all.
I want him to have some chance to make some money playing football, and that means now. As someone already said, he's not a young man, and he plays a young man's position.
The end game of the conference season is going to be really interesting to watch. Wisconsin finishes at Nebraska and at Ohio State, so it's going to come down to the end.
Stella really is an outstanding player. Of all the setters I've seen since my kids started playing I would only place Kennedy Orr above her. That's pretty high praise.
This is a really crucial hire for the program. The B1G is so competitive that it will be pretty easy for a program to slide to the bottom half with a handful of down years.
Not sure if you've listened to the Plains record yet, but it's Katie Crutchfield (Waxahatchee) and Jess Williamson. Similar vibe to "Saint Cloud". Give it a listen!
I'd like to echo the sadness about the passing of Mimi Parker of Low. Just an amazing band that always stayed true to their vision. We're lucky that we got to hear them make music for 30 years.
I've got a few shows coming up. My busiest month since the pandemic. Plains at MJ Lenderman at First Ave, Rose City Band at the Turf and Wild Pink at the Entry. Time to stretch these old man legs again.
It would be great to see this team invest in Correa. Do that, bring in another starter (getting Maeda back will be great) and I'll be happy with the offseason.
I really think that Johnson is a good coach, and they need to give him time to build a program. There are no shortcuts to building a program that is consistently competitive.
