***OFFICIAL PENN ST AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Payne has been steadily getting better from the line too. He still has stretches where he misses but he's stringing more stretches of makes together

All Things Grayson Grove Recruitment Thread (Class of 2024, Alexandria, MN; 6-8, 190lb; Gophers Commit!

I imagine that CBJ will look for front court depth in the transfer portal with those potential losses. Garcia is playing well enough to get some looks but its not a guarantee. I think Fox CAN come back but thats uncertain too.

    CBJ performance

The weak nonconference schedule was about establishing a cohesive unit and helping Hawkins play a slightly different style than at Howard. So I get that, as annoying as it was watching some of those games on Big Ten + . But next years schedule should be ALOT more challenging because I would...

    Ben Johnson is a Disaster

As frustrating as the loss was, I didn't really see a lack of effort as being the cause of the loss. Cam Christie was 3-12 and we couldn't hit outside shots. Nebraska is a good team at home. Gary couldn't miss from 3. Nebraska was contesting everything and double-teaming every post touch. We...

***OFFICIAL OHIO STATE AT MINNESOTA IN-BATTLE THREAD!!!***

Something that I noticed that not alot of people are talking about is that Payne shot 5-7 on free throws this game. His stroke has always looked smooth. Just a matter of routine and confidence. If he can have more nights like this or close to it, teams will be less willing to send him to the...

STrib: Gophers' defensive improvement has keyed the turnaround under Ben Johnson

I'm noticing the defensive improvement. When Rutgers had a screen outside the arc, our bigs were HUSTLING back to the roller. Or if they were playing zone, they communicated if it was mismatch and helped. That's a sign of a connected team that seems to be playing better as the season goes on

    I’m Proud of Our Team

Yeah Hawkins needs to get a breather occasionally. I get he's one of our most important players (if not the most) but the dude plays so fast and plays hard every moment he's on the floor, he needs a few minutes to rest in each half

Chip: Time for Williams Arena teardown? Not if we get more Gophers games like Tuesday's.

I've actually never been to a Gopher game before and i want to make my way down there. (I'm from St. Cloud) the MSU game was awesome

Field of 68 Projection: Field Shrinks By 2 Thanks to Bid-Stealers Charlotte and Richmond

Disappointing, yet not surprising tbh. One of the obvious cons of a weak nonconference schedule. If we keep winning our home games, play Purdue hard, and beat Nebraska on the road, then I think we'll be included. We're on our way up tho.

Parker Fox is leading by example: aggressive, tough, fearless

Announcers made a point like that last night he drove from the top of the key saying that MSU probably didn't have that in their scouting report. He can keep defenses more honest with plays like that

***OFFICIAL MICHIGAN STATE AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Sign of a good team is when players like Hawkins and Garcia are off, other players a step up. Christie was on fire and Fox was a spark. Carrington played really good defense on Walker

    Cam Christie’s development and impact

Hopefully the crowd is even bigger against MSU. I would assume it will be.
