I agree. He was also the coach to have the courage to realize that the Gophers needed to integrate, long before much of the country agreed.

To me, the most logical thing to do would be to go West 2 vs, East 2, West 3 vs. East 3, etc. It wouldn't be my preferred opponent, but it seems fair.

If the conference cares at all about the players and coaches, their health needs to come before rivalry games. Forget about crossover games and enjoy the Northwestern/tOSU game if those teams are healthy.

While there are many problems, I like the wideouts from the 2020 and 2021 classes. If the team is probably headed for a 1 or 2 win season, I'd like to see more of the younger players at QB, RB and WR. Don't wear down Ibrahim and Bateman.

When you have lost Dunlop, Faalele and Smith, you won't have the strong ball control approach from last year until you truly replace those guys. I don't see it happening this season. As far as the defense, I felt sorry for the players in the 4th quarter. While we miss last years seniors on...

Given that the defense couldn't stop Maryland, I thought that the obvious choice was to go for 2 with Ibrahim and Green in. One way or the other, the unpleasantness would be over.

I don't want to depend on Nebraska to put the Gophers ahead of Wisconsin. First, lets prove on the field that we can beat all of the West except Wisconsin. I'm tired of losing to Iowa.

While I agree on Townley, I'd consider adding Buckley as a wrap also. It would be a plus beating Nebraska.

I don't understand calling a young man names because he chooses to go to Wisconsin. He has chosen what is right for his life. P.J. said from the beginning that his approach isn't for everybody, and I think that's fine!
