Looking at the obvious state of gopher basketball, Payne will be on other teams radar. If we//you think he won't then we are delusional and not realistic. Gophers need to keep Payne and I want them to, but he is an appealing piece to a puzzle for other teams. This whole topic is speculation...

TT is gone. Will go to a mid-major. Henley is gone. Closer to home. I hope Payne stays, but..... Need to go get 2 guards and a small forward. Need to get shooting!!

Tough season- Started with injuries... Then Coaching Staff not able to find a capable guard in the portal.. When does it stop? The product on the floor is not good. We have no identity. Last year we at least played hard and could guard. This year is BRUTAL!! Time for change?

AGREE--Samuels is not even a D-2 player let alone a a D-1 player. Bottom line is that the coaches missed badly with the addition of the 2 transfer guards. If you do not have a guard who can create a mismatch--then you don't have anything. We don't get easy open looks do to our guard play...

Need guards that can command a double team--basically have to be able to shoot and beat there defender. Cooper and Samuels are not that guy at all.

Agree, Cooper is a backup at best. Big Ten play will be tough for him.

Gophers guard play is at a D-3 level. Need to start to recruit players who can shoot the ball. Need a lead guard that can create and make others better. Our Bigs are not the problem. Guard play is NOT GOOD!!
