The points total looks good, but 17% from 3 and 60% FT is pretty bad for a shooter. Those FT attempts does seem to indicate he's getting to the basket however vs floating outside like you said.

I watched a bit of Frost post-game and IIRC he even admitted that a large part of the game plan was running the option. Couldn’t have been that hurt if they were game planning for it. The Gophs just did a pretty good job snuffing it out. Sounds like excuses to me.

I think his comment was two-fold. This comment for sure. This is partly a recruiting stance he’s taking. I also believe the “sloganeering” pot-shot bothered Fleck and this was his way to run in that Fleck’s methods are better than Frost’s.
