Vannini: The gap between the best CFB teams and the middle-tier teams hasn't been this small in at least a decade and it makes every week a wild ride.

great, let’s celebrate when we actually sign Alabama and LSU transfers. Right now it’s hard to tell if we can capitalize on it. Tyler Williams came from Georgia but according to all reports he’s still a year away from being a big piece in the offense

    Koi Perich is the man

Different era of recruiting. With the hyper-online landscape of recruiting today, Decker probably gets more attention

Hot take: are these the best Gopher's unis of all time?

Agreed. I'm convinced most of the pro-Kill uni cohort only likes them because they came after the monstrosities that were the Brewster-era uniforms

Hot take: are these the best Gopher's unis of all time?

This is straight out of the movie Any Given Sunday

Hot take: are these the best Gopher's unis of all time?

I don't know about you guys, but watching Saturday's game, I kept catching myself thinking "Damn, our uniforms are sharp" The white pant stripe, the beautiful maroon and gold (finally got it right) the big numbers. USC has some of the best looking unis in all of CFB and I think we outclassed...

    How's Koi doing?

Brown and Perich are our best safeties by far. Gousby and Bryson aren't starting B1G quality. Brown is undersized but he hits like a truck and is always filling well in the run game. Play Koi as a center fielder at free safety like we did with Winfield and let him roam around and make plays.

When was the last time ?

That 2015 OSU team was even more loaded than their 2014 title team. Pretty impressive that we fought them that closely. Also even more pathetic that they couldn't win again in 2015 with all that talent

    KC and AK

Hindsight is 20/20, but we all knew it at the time. KC's offense is too rudimentary and he lucked out having two NFL WR's in 2019 (and a healthy CRAB) that could turn his simple RPO slants into 70 yard touchdowns, or catch a contested deep fade in a close game. Also, giving the ball to Mo 30...

Lighten up. This is college football. It's tradition to be dramatic. You're also on a forum talking about 19 year olds playing a game.

The game at Illinois is a sneaky one. That fat MF'er has had our number no matter where he is

What a whirlwind of a few weeks. I was convinced the program was imploding and PJ was a fraud. I thought Greg Harbaugh was a football terrorist. I was watching 2019 highlights crying myself to sleep every night. I would play Mo Ibrahim, Bateman, Tyler Johnson and AW Jr. highlights on repeat...

Wow these pics of Koi are amazing, great work GopherHole

Yep. If Perić doesn't jump that, their 6'6 guy definitely gets his paws on that

So do we love PJ again?

Honestly, I didn't think PJ had the balls to go for it. Add that to him giving Perich more playing time, letting Greg open up the playbook, and watching our team just look more mature and play harder over the last few weeks has made me a believer again. How many other teams just shut it down...

What's up with Mangham? USC struggles with physical runners, let's get him some carries. Looked like a freight train on his one run against Michigan before he hurt himself

That late push against Michigan was huge for the sanity and confidence of our locker room and fanbase. I'm expecting our guys to come out with some swagger and extra juice tonight. An upset like this would be so big for our program. Massive opportunity for Robinson and Walley to make some noise...
