    Payne, Carrington, Ola-Joseph and Ihnen...

Carrington has been a valuable player for us his first two years, and would likely only get better his next two years. He has been a starter for us, and could well be again. Mike Mitchell is not light years ahead of Carrington. Or, what if Christie leaves for the NBA? There's also the year...

    Payne, Carrington, Ola-Joseph and Ihnen...

Disagree. No way could Ihnnen play the 5. Impossible. In the era of the portal, what advantage is there to signing a 12th man project like Kristop Keynis who may not devleop, and if he does probably won't stick around? Ihnen gives you a sure thing that can play a few minutes in spot duty, as...

    Payne, Carrington, Ola-Joseph and Ihnen...

Talk now of Carrington & Ihnen potentially returning. I'd take them both back in a heartbeat, under the right circumstances. Add Morgan today, convince Fox to come back for one more year, and cross our fingers Garcia & Christie return? Suddenly, and this is incredibly optimistic I'm aware, we...

Caitlin Clark offered 5 million to join Ice Cube's BIG3 basketball league

I've known it existed for a while because I've seen Ice Cube videos where he mentioned it. I tuned in late one night a few years back, and caught Royce White playing for some team. Clark would get destroyed in that league.

Brody Fox in the Portal—Grad Transfer

Wow, bad take. Glad you're not the coach.

Shooter: Market value suggests it could cost nearly $10,000 a month over the school year to retain Christie; $3-4K/month to keep Payne

This is correct, but we kept the football guys because we were able to pay them enough, that leaving didnt make sense. They didnt stay just becuase they love the U.

Shooter: Market value suggests it could cost nearly $10,000 a month over the school year to retain Christie; $3-4K/month to keep Payne

We the fans, will need to donate to our NIL fund to keep & attract quality players. I think Shooter is pulling numbers out of his arse, but we WILL need to give our core players a significant raise if we want this group back again next season. Donating is easy, and even small amounts help...

Shooter: Market value suggests it could cost nearly $10,000 a month over the school year to retain Christie; $3-4K/month to keep Payne

I think we're going to have to pay Christie enough to stay competitive, but his family is not destitute, and from what I understand he & his family are happy with their decision to play for/attend the U.

What are the odds everyone comes back next year?

No one really knows, but one can guess. I've watched him walk off the court gingerly, pull out the resistance band and rehab his knee on the sideline for 10 minutes. Having been around a couple rehabs, it's pretty clear he's still having some pain. or tightness if he was doing that in-game. He...

Coach Ben: Think Jack Wilson getting Edey off his game on Feb. 15

How would a young project add value in the immediate? Maybe in the long term, but even then, in the era of the portal there's no guarantee you'll ever see the fruits of their labor. Plus, we already have Betts, Keinis & Reader, none of whom have given us much of anything this season. Wilson has...

Coach Ben: Think Jack Wilson getting Edey off his game on Feb. 15

What a stupid take saying Wilson is a wasted scholorship.

Projecting the Gophers' offensive depth chart in 2024

He's the heir apparent in the slot, but he's not a finished product yet. It wouldn't shock me if he wins the starting spot, but they brought in some veterans to compete with him.

Projecting the Gophers' offensive depth chart in 2024

It's easy to sit back & take pot shots, so I will. :) - Tony Nelson is the back-up at LT. - Cade McConnell is the likely starter at Center next season. - Lewis the player who lost the most snaps due to Greg Johnson's development, and the most likely to lose his starting spot on the OL.

The Fox is on the loose!

Just read your comments. Exactly my thoughts on Ihnen. There will be a couple nights for no particular reason, where Ihnen will go on a heater, and help win us a game/get us back in a game.
