Totally agree. I wonder if we see more passes to our RBs and TEs (or really just BSF) this game. I assume AU will try to aggressively cover 6 and 13.

This is more or less correct. It’s heavily focused on “prep” at most schools, which includes film breakdown, looking at analytics/trends, building briefing books, etc. The other big difference is that the QC folks can’t have contact with or engage recruits, so it’s a more “back office” function...

what I think is most likely: Simon as OC/WR, Patterson as QB/PGC, hire in a star recruiter type to fill the TE slot wild card: some sort of Co-OC scheme with Simon and Patterson I don’t see any can’t-miss OCs on the market

Why not give it to Patterson? He coached multiple QBs in his record-setting JUCO offenses.

Haha! To be fair though, he was the QB coach and Morgan has developed a lot as a passer between last year and this year. Of course he benefits from having Bateman and Johnson, but I think we have to give some credit where credit is due.
